Child safety standards

hookie has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Our standards

• Content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers children is forbidden on hookie: in posts, comments, photos, profiles and private messages.
• hookie is only for people aged 13 and older.
• Anyone can report a post, comment, profile or message with Report → “A child may be at risk”. These reports are reviewed first.
• When we find such content we remove it, remove the account involved, keep the evidence the law requires, and report it to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.
• Users can block anyone so they can no longer message them.
